People Helping People, Byron’s local food pantry, NEEDS YOUR VOTES!
The pantry has been fortunate enough to be nominated for Sterling Fed’s 4th Annual Employee Charity Challenge. We are hoping that we can unite as a community to support our local food pantry which serves Byron, Rockvale, Monroe, Marion, Scott and Leaf River Townships. What is needed from our local community is as many votes as possible to give us a chance to win one of the Charity’s prizes. The Challenge starts March 1 and continues every day through March 31. To vote, go to Sterling Fed’s Facebook page and select People Helping People as the organization. We ask that you have fun with this challenge and vote every day! We are a volunteer organization without any paid staff, meaning every dollar donated goes toward food for our clients. This has been hard times for many during this pandemic, but the pantry, which started in 1983, will continue to faithfully serve those in need.
